Spacesmith and Davis Brody Bond will co-host an informative presentation and discussion on New York City’s Local Law 97, the most ambitious climate legislation for buildings enacted by any city in the world. Part of New York City’s Climate Mobilization Act, Local Law 97 will affect 50,000 buildings, and places them on a path to meet the city’s goal to reduce carbon emissions 80 percent by 2050.
Spacesmith is pleased to announce its participation in the AIA’s 2030 Commitment. The 2030 Commitment’s mission is to transform the practice of architecture in a way that is holistic, firm-wide, project-based and data-driven, so the AIA and the participating firms can prioritize energy performance and carbon reductions in the design toward carbon neutral buildings, developments, and major renovations by 2030.
