Lisa Angulo
I find purpose in using design and volunteer opportunities to reach out to my community and make an impact on people’s lives.
Hailing from the Bronx, Lisa Angulo has always been fascinated by historic buildings and their ability to morph, adapt, and stand the test of time. Through her work on retrofits, she now plays a key role in improving the function, design, and efficiency of existing structures.
A painter and artist in her own right, Lisa understands that the difference between a good design and an extraordinary one lies in the details—and she pays attention to them in more ways than one. Not only is she hypervigilant as an on-site supervisor, but she also excels in the art of construction details. Her strengths in both areas were pivotal in the completion of Hermès Maison Madison on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
Lisa’s progressive mentality, her understanding of construction administration, and her technical skills have led her to optimize Spacesmith’s software integration during all project phases to create a more holistic experience for all those involved.
Lisa earned her Master of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. In her free time, she mentors high school students in the Bronx who are interested in pursuing careers in architecture and design.
