Repeat client Ladurée enlisted Spacesmith as executive architect for the Parisian patisserie’s new Rockefeller Center location, a 600 sf storefront at one of New York City’s busiest holiday destinations. Delivered on a six-month schedule in advance of Black Friday, our team worked in close collaboration with Paris-based design architect Studio Ravn, the general contractor, subconsultants, and vendors to coordinate a seamless process from initial concept to completion. Our scope included reviewing shop drawings and submittals and monitoring construction to ensure the design met the brand’s elevated standards, resulting in a café prepared for the holiday season.
