Spacesmith is seeking a talented and self-motivated candidate for a key position as a Junior Designer to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have experience in various stages of design and development and possess basic knowledge of architecture and/or interior design drawing terminology and conventions. They will also have good time management and organization skills combined with a high level of design and technical ability. The position requires the ability to communicate efficiently and collaborate in an interdisciplinary, deadline-driven atmosphere. They must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, be a self-starter and acknowledge when additional input is needed.
Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
0 - 3 years of experience in various phases of design, experience in workplace and/or retail encouraged.
Proficiency in Revit
Proficiency in Adobe Suites and other necessary technical tools for the project
Possess a basic understanding of construction and furniture specifications
Possess a basic knowledge of construction codes and barrier free design standards
Strong organizational, collaboration and communication skills
Legally eligible to work in the Unites States with proficiency in the English language
