When MTV Networks assumed the lease on two additional floors in their Times Square headquarters, the directive was to create an atmosphere and a layout that was more conducive to the MTV mindset—fast and at minimal cost. The design was inspired by the youth culture of the company. Environmentally conscious materials and finishes were selected to align with the company's commitment to sustainability. The modifications to the space were kept to a minimum, yet achieving maximum greatest impact to support open and flexible workspace and to accommodate a wide range of activities. The result is an energetic, interactive place that mimics Times Square's character and excitement.
